How it all began

Owner and Founder Cathy Pierce has been a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) for almost 15 years. Prior to that she taught Group Exercise classes while raising her 4 children. In her childhood and throughout her teens, Cathy was a competitive swimmer competing at the elite level. Her goal was to earn a college scholarship. She accomplished that goal and signed with a college during her junior year of high school. She then underwent two knee surgeries during her senior year and had to give up her scholarship and find a new college. This was devastating.


Fast forward to the present where Cathy has two children in college and two children in high school. She has had a total of 5 knee surgeries with a partial replacement planned later this year. She also has other nagging injuries as she prepares to enter her 50's. Cathy has arthritis in a lot of her joints and now views her workouts as medicine. She has often said that "Motion is lotion" for arthritis and she lives by this motto daily.


Cathy has been specializing in Small Group Training for over 10 years and it is her mission to educate Leonardtown and the surrounding community on the value of strength training and continuing to move as we age.

Personal and Duo Personal Training is a solid way to invest in strength training and in your current (and future) health. Personal Training offers 1:1 attention where Cathy can focus solely on you. small group training

Small Group Strength Training

Small Group Training consists of 3-6 people strength training for 60 minutes. As part of a Small Group your cost is reduced but your personal training value is fantastic! Cathy designs an individualized workout for you based on your body and your health/wellness goals. You share time with others which offers a sense of camaraderie and community. aerial yoga

Small Group Aerial Yoga

Join Cathy for a delicious aerial yoga practice and leave feeling taller and a bit more balanced. The hammock is used as a prop for this gentle practice. Individualized poses will be designed for each client in order to provide safe care. If you've never done aerial yoga before or if you are a regular this Small Group is for you!
